The large tree knocked out power in the surrounding homes in a Hopedale neighborhood, firefighters said.

Hopedale Firefighters were called to the homie at around 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, for a report of “partial structural collapse.”

People were home at the time of the disaster, but no injuries were reported, firefighters said.

National Grid and the Hopedale Building Inspector also responded to the downed tree.

Hopedale was hit particularly badly by Monday’s storm. Power was knocked out to about a dozen neighborhoods and a tree that fell into power lines on Mill Street closed the area temporarily.
